Counting Allah's infinite blessings

 We should be grateful to Allah at all times as he has given us so much and has blessed us with so many bounties. First of all we should thank Allah for making us as human beings because if Allah wanted he might have made us an insect or mosquito. Secondly we should thank Allah for making us Muslims. As Muslim we have the best chance of reaching Heaven as non believers mainly christians, jews, hindus and buddhists and atheists have been doomed to reach Hell by Allah provided that they attain faith and convert into Islam.

We should be grateful to Allah for making us rich, healthy, educated and dignified. We should be grateful to Allah for providing us with food, homes, clothes and shelter.

In the end what I would like to say is that when Allah can feed a large animal like the blue whale then he can surely feed us humans daily with food and drink.

 The Concern: Today I woke up after the time for suhoor (sehri) and wondering if I still have the obligation to keep my fast for Ramadan? How does not waking up affect my Niyyah for fasting?
