People's greed and love for money

Nowadays which are considered as survival of the fittest people are constantly in a race to earn more and more money. They even judge people in terms of their socio economic status whether they are superior or inferior to one another. This materialistic thinking is what Islam looks down upon such people and considers it as haram.

In types of shirk one shirk is to associate partners with Allah, another kind of shirk is considering nature to be superior to Allah's power and the other type of shirk is people's love for money. People 's love for money and worldly things is the reason why people become arrogant, proud and start treating people who are not as fortunate as themselves badly. These kind of people have an ego problem. They begin to think just on the basis of wealth they are superior to others whether it is intelligence wise, education wise or their planning or cleverness but on the otherhand all this wealth belongs to Allah and Allah has given them this wealth and this is not because of their own ability,

In our history Kings like Pharoah of Egypt and Nimrood were punished by Allah for having this love and greed for money.

In the end what I would like to say is that Allah loves those who are modest and humble.
